Structural Design of Soldier Piles

1. Soil type and design values of both active and passive values.
2. Surcharge loading - can be very critical
3. Allowable over-stress - duration of loading a factor
4. I believe it takes using good engineering judgement to not have the design overly conservation.
5. Side pocket can and are used on many majors projects
